Engineering World Health (EWH) Northwestern seeks to inspire and
mobilize the engineering community, to improve the quality of healthcare
in vulnerable communities. More specifically, to provide the members of
EWH Northwestern with the opportunity to repair, build, and learn about medical devices.
About Us
EWH Northwestern is part of a larger national organization that is headquartered at Duke
and is comprised of about 20 chapter worldwide. EWH works with university-based biomedical
engineers, industry professionals, charities that manage donated medical equipment, the
international health community and developing countries to combine innovation in appropriate
technology with direct support to medical technology management, maintenance and repair. To
